M Series [Lite] — Essential Interactive Panel, Honest Specification

Not every room needs an AI camera. The M Series [Lite], built around the M2X model in 65, 75 and 86 inches, keeps what a standard classroom or meeting room uses every day — 4K UHD picture, 4K writing, 20-point touch and wireless sharing for up to nine screens — and leaves out what it does not.

Specified for All-Day Eyes

The M2X is published with DC dimming and a flicker-free display, plus anti-ambient-light interference — a combination aimed at rooms where the board is on from the first lesson to the last. Teachers and students look at this screen for six or more hours a day; flicker and glare are not specification trivia, they are the difference between a board that gets used and one that gets switched off.

Writing is handled the way the whole range handles it: smooth pen-and-finger differentiation, response that recognises pen thickness to switch between two colours automatically, and no special stylus required — a finger writes directly. The built-in teaching tools include rulers, triangular protractors and automatic creation of 2D shapes such as straight lines and tables.

Where the Lite Series Fits

Choose the M series when the rollout is large, the rooms are standard and the budget is real: primary classrooms, training rooms and meeting rooms that need a dependable interactive surface rather than a flagship. Choose the E series when you need 40-point touch, zero bonding and sizes beyond 86 inches, and the R series when OCR and AI assistance are on the requirement list.

Because the M2X tops out at 86 inches, room size is the first check: measure the distance from board to back row, state it in the enquiry, and if the room is too large the quotation will say so and point to the correct series instead of selling the wrong panel.

Total Cost: Where the Lite Series Saves Twice

The M2X saves money twice. The first saving is the purchase: a specification trimmed to what standard rooms use — 20-point touch, 4K UHD, flicker-free DC dimming, 9-screen wireless sharing — without the camera arrays and AI chipsets of the flagship lines. The second saving is specification discipline: standardising on one lite model keeps the per-room decision to size and fit instead of a fresh specification exercise for every room. The limits are equally plain: no camera option is published for the M2X, and sizes stop at 86 inches. Rooms that breach either limit should be carved out of the lite fleet and quoted in the correct series, rather than forcing the whole estate up a price rung for the sake of uniformity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 20-point touch enough for a classroom?

For one or two writers at the board plus touch navigation, yes — it is the documented specification of this model. Rooms that regularly put four or more students at the board should look at the 40-point E series or the R01.

Does the M2X include a camera?

No camera option is published for the M2X. If hybrid meetings are required, the E, R, U or A series publish camera options.
