Video Wall — When One Screen Stops Being Enough
A video wall is specified by the room it commands: a lobby that must impress at fifteen metres, a control room read at two, a retail wall that sells at five. Gaoke documents both technologies — LCD DID splicing tiles at 49 and 55 inches, and LED panels including the F500 series — so the wall can be designed around the room.

Two Technologies, One Design Conversation
LCD splicing walls are built from DID tiles — documented models at 49 and 55 inches across the GK-VW49 and GK-VW55 families, in touch and non-touch variants and bezel options down to the 0.88 mm class in the published pitch figures. The tiles publish high grayscale, a stable high refresh rate and multiple splicing methods — general, horizontal, vertical and dislocation — and the system supports stretching one image across the whole wall, showing a different image on every tile, roaming a single signal anywhere on the canvas, or running multiple signals — HDMI, DVI, VGA, RGB and more — in zones. LED video walls remove the bezel entirely: the F500-series panels build a seamless canvas at a pitch chosen for the viewing distance, with customisation including curved configurations documented on the LED line.
The choice is made by three numbers: closest viewing distance, ambient light, and whether visible seams are acceptable. Control rooms and detail work lean LCD; brand walls, stages and distance viewing lean LED. The dedicated pages for each technology carry the model-level detail.
Designing the Wall Before Pricing It
A useful video wall enquiry contains the wall's finished width and height, the closest and typical viewing distances, the content (one image, or zoned signals), and whether the wall is a permanent installation or a recurring event build. With those, the quotation becomes a design: tile count or panel pitch, total resolution, signal plan and mounting approach — priced as a system, not as a pile of screens.
A video wall can be quoted together with the room's other displays — signage for the corridors, a panel for the meeting room behind the lobby — in one consolidated project quotation.
Reading a Video Wall Quotation
A complete video wall quotation reads like a design summary: finished canvas dimensions, technology and model, tile count or pitch, total resolution, signal plan, mounting approach, commissioning commitment and spares. Compare competing quotations only after each has been forced into that shape — a lower price for a different wall is not a lower price. The enquiry form on this page asks for the design inputs (dimensions, distances, content, permanence) precisely so the first document you receive is already in that shape, with the alternative technology's numbers available alongside for the crossover sizes where the choice is genuinely open.

Frequently Asked Questions
LCD or LED video wall — which is cheaper?
It depends on finished size and viewing distance more than technology. The blog guide on this site compares cost, brightness and maintenance in detail; the quotation prices both options for your wall dimensions.
Can the wall show several sources at once?
Multi-signal support is documented — one image stretched across the wall, or several signals in zones.
